John Wilson, Piano, Owner
John founded Rhythm and Keys in the spring of 2003 and
currently teaches about fifty students from beginner to
advanced.  He began studying piano at age 7 and earned
his bachelors degree in music from the University of North
Florida classical piano department.  John has over 14
years of teaching experience and offers classical, jazz,
rock and improvisation methods in his lessons.  He also is
the organist and choir director at St. Paul's Episcopal
Church.  
Katy Wilson, Studio Manager,
Co-owner
Katy was instrumental in the founding of Rhythm
and Keys.  As well as being co-owner, she is
responsible for the day to day operations of the
studio and is our pre-k music teacher.  In
addition, Katy is also a 4th grade teacher at Lake
Lucina Elementary.
Jacob O'Conner, guitar, bass,
Jacob is a graduate from the University of North Florida's
jazz department. His course of study has spanned from
classical to modern with an emphasis on bass and guitar
technique and theory. Jacob can also teach the stand up
bass.
Margaret Holland, Woodwinds
"Peggy" is beginning her first year teaching
woodwinds at Rhythm and Keys.  She holds a
bachelors in Music Education and is a certified  
teacher.  In addition to teaching at Rhythm and Keys,
she also enjoys working with the Jacksonville Zoo.   
Michael Ulmer, trumpet, piano
Mike is a graduate from the University of North Florida's jazz
department. His lessons consist of both jazz and classical
theories. His method of teaching is a mix between classical  
theory, ear training and improvisation.
Gabriel Nehemias, guitar, piano
Gabriel is a graduate from the Jacksonville University music
department. He has studied classical, jazz, and spiritual genres and
places emphasis on technique and theory.  Gabriel is also a music
worship leader at Monument Point Fellowship Church.
Daniel Hunting, guitar
Dan was born and raised in Orlando.  He started playing guitar at
the age of 9.  He became really serious about music in high school
and has pursued it professionally ever since.  In 2006 he performed
in the Florida All-State Jazz band. He will be graduating this
semester with a B.A. in Jazz Studies from UNF.  
Micah Mills, Violin, Viola,  Piano, and Composition
Micah graduated from Jacksonville University with a degree in
Music composition.  He is comfortable in teaching both Suzuki and
traditional methods.  Although successful in teaching children,
Micah is also able to introduce violin to beginning adults.
Benjamin Wadley,  piano, guitar
Ben grew up in Orlando being home schooled all his life. He attended
Liberty University graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Worship
and Music with a concentration in Business.  He is married to his
lovely wife, Katie and enjoys spending time with her going to garage
sales or just hanging out.
Meghan Mizell,  Voice
Meghan is a Jacksonville, Florida native who is a voice
performance major at the University of North Florida.
Within her major, she is concentrated in opera and
classical genres, and also the French language.
Meghan has a true passion for singing and for helping
others. She is excited about preparing others to
achieve professionalism, preparedness, and truly
beautiful singing.

Michael Tillis, drums
Michael is a graduate from  the University of North Florida's jazz
department. His lessons range from  classical to rock and roll with of
course a strong jazz influence.  His method of teaching combines
reading, ear training and improvisation.  His lessons provide a solid
base in musical knowledge while helping each individual student pursue
his or her own personal goals.
