John Wilson, Piano, Owner
John founded Rhythm and Keys in the spring of 2003 and
currently teaches about fifty students from beginner to
advanced.  He began studying piano at age 7 and earned
his bachelors degree in music from the University of North
Florida classical piano department.  John has over 14
years of teaching experience and offers classical, jazz,
rock and improvisation methods in his lessons.  He also is
the organist and choir director at St. Paul's Episcopal
Church.  
Katy Wilson, Studio Manager,
Co-owner
Katy was instrumental in the founding of Rhythm
and Keys.  As well as being co-owner, she is
responsible for the day to day operations of the
studio and is our pre-k music teacher.  In
addition, Katy is also a 3rd grade teacher at Lake
Lucina Elementary.
Adam Mantavoni, Guitar, Bass, & Cello
Adam is a graduate from the University of North Florida's
classical department. His course of study has spanned from
classical to modern with an emphasis on bass technique
and theory.  Adam also performs with many successful
Jacksonville area bands.
Michael Ulmer, Trumpet & Piano
Mike began playing trumpet at the age of twelve and later
began studying piano.  After graduating high school, he was
hired to play in Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom.  Mike left
Orlando and moved to Jacksonville to study at UNF.  Having
completed his bachelor's degree, Michael now teaches daily
at Rhythm and Keys and performs weekly at Lord Of Life
Lutheran Church.  Mike is also a freelance jazz pianist in the
Jacksonville area.
Gabriel Nehemias, Guitar & Piano
Gabriel is a graduate from the Jacksonville University music
department. He has studied classical, jazz, and spiritual genres and
places emphasis on technique and theory.  Gabriel is also a music
worship leader at Monument Point Fellowship Church.
Daniel Hunting, Guitar
Daniel was born in Orlando, Florida where he became interested in
music at an early age.  After many years of private instruction he
attended UNF and graduated with a BA in Jazz Studies in 2010.  
Daniel is well versed in many styles of music including, but not
limited to, jazz, blues, rock, and funk.  His teaching style
emphasizes playing by ear as well as reading music.  
Micah Mills, Violin, Viola,  Piano, and Composition
Micah graduated from Jacksonville University with a degree in
Music composition.  He is comfortable in teaching both Suzuki and
traditional methods.  Although successful in teaching children,
Micah is also able to introduce violin to beginning adults.  Micah
also performs regularly with other artists and singer- songwriters.
Meghan Mizell,  Voice
Meghan is a Jacksonville, Florida native who is a voice
performance major at the University of North Florida.
Within her major, she has concentrated in opera and
classical genres, and also the French language.  Her
performances have even taken her to Prague.  
Meghan has a true passion for singing and for helping
others. She is excited about preparing others to
achieve professionalism, preparedness, and truly
beautiful singing.

Nico Lembo, Drums
Nico is a graduate of the University of North Florida's jazz studies
program and has been living and working as a professional musician in
Jacksonville for the past 5 years.  His lessons contain strong emphasis
on the fundamentals of music and drumming including reading,
improvisation, and proper technique.  For the past year Nico has been
playing around the southwest at various live music venues and festivals
with Jacksonville Beach band Saltwater Grass, including Bear Creek in
2010 and Blackwater in 2011.  
Danny Stimpson, Drums & Saxophone
Danny is the newest member to the Rhythm and
Keys family.  He is a graduate of the University of
North Florida music department. He also works
with Caribbean Percussion and plays in his church
band. Danny's lessons provide a good balance of
theory, technique, and improvisation.
