John Wilson, Piano, Owner
John founded Rhythm and Keys in the spring of 2003 and
currently teaches about sixty students from beginner to
advanced.  He began studying piano at age 7 and earned
his bachelors degree in music from the University of North
Florida classical piano department.  John has over 12
years of teaching experience and he offers classical, jazz,
rock and improvisation methods in his lessons.  He also
teaches beginning guitar, drums and woodwinds.  
Katy Wilson, Studio Manager, Co-owner
Katy was instrumental in the founding of Rhythm and
Keys.  As well as being co-owner, she is responsible for
the day to day operations of the studio.  In addition,
Katy is also a 3rd grade teacher at Lake Lucina
Elementary.
Jeff McLaughlin, guitar, bass,
Jeff is a graduate from the University of North
Florida's jazz department. His course of study
has spanned from classical to modern with an
emphasis on guitar technique and theory. Jeff
recently became a Duval County Music teacher.
    Oleg Shkolyar, drums
Oleg went through the music system in
Russia  as a young man and is now a
professional musician in the Jacksonville
scene.  He is extremely excited to be able
to share his knowledge with his students.
 Michael Ulmer, trumpet, piano
Mike is a music major at the University of
North Florida jazz department. His lessons
consist of both jazz and classical theories.
His method of teaching is a mix between
classical  theory, ear training and
improvisation.
 Gabriel Nehemias, guitar, piano
Gabriel is a graduate from the Jacksonville
University music department. He has studied
classical, jazz, and spiritual genres.  Gabriel
also places emphasis on technique and theory.
   Steve Gallatin, Guitar, piano
Steve  is graduate from the University of
North Florida jazz department. His method
of teaching is classical with some
improvisation.
Micah Mills, Violin, Viola,  Piano,
and Composition
Micah graduated from Jacksonville University
with a degree in Music composition.
   Shannon Baker, Woodwinds
Shannon is currently a junior in the music
department at the University of North
Florida.  Shannon plays flute, sax and
clarinet. .    
     William Colledge, Guitar
William is graduate from the UNF  jazz
department. He is also an associate adjunct
professor at FCCJ. His method of teaching is
a mix between classical  theory, ear training
and improvisation.
          Greg Cuje, guitar
Greg is a graduate from the University of
North Florida music department.  He is also
a music teacher for the Duval County
school system. Greg's lessons place
emphasis on ear training and
improvisation.
    Belinda Walter, Voice
Belinda graduated from Jacksonville
University with a performing arts
degree. She also teaches Music for
the Duval County school system.
